B&D Johnson Antiques are proud to announce the return of the Greenwich Kiwanis
Fall Antiques Show, October 17th & 18th, to the Old Greenwich Civic Center in Old
Greenwich, CT. The Greenwich Kiwanis Antiques Shows are the primary fund raiser
for the Kiwanis Club of Greenwich, a non-profit organization of local businessmen
and women who care about their community. The Kiwanis Club actively supports
many areas of the community in need, with their work including several scholarship
programs and financial support of the local YWCA. The entire revenue generated
from the Antiques Show admissions goes to the Kiwanis Club. They are the friendly
faces that greet you at the show entrance and will gladly fill you in on how to further
help their causes.
Three simple yet very significant words can be used to describe the Greenwich
Kiwanis Antiques Show; Balance, Quality and Value. Balance comes from the show’s
diverse and unique group of approximately 50 dealers. For many, this is the only
show they exhibit at in the region or at all, which adds a great deal of freshness to
the event. Quality and Value will be apparent when the visiting the show. First time
customers of the show are often pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the
knowledgeable dealers are. Since B&D Johnson Antiques took over management
of the show in 2002, the goal of making antiques more accessible and not
intimidating has remained the top priority.
