B&D Johnson Antiques are proud to announce the return of the Greenwich
Kiwanis F
all Antiques Show, October 18th & 19th, to the Old Greenwich Civic Center
in Old Greenwich, CT.  The Greenwich Kiwanis Antiques Shows are  the primary fund
raiser for the Kiwanis Club of Greenwich, a non-profit organization of local
businessmen and women who care about their community.   The Kiwanis Club
actively supports many areas of the community in need, with their work including
several scholarship programs and financial support of the local YWCA.  The entire
revenue generated from the Antiques Show admissions goes to the Kiwanis Club.
They are the friendly faces that greet you at the show entrance and will gladly fill you
in on how to further help their causes.
Three simple yet very significant words can be used to describe the Greenwich
Kiwanis Antiques Show; Balance, Quality and Value.  Balance comes from the show’s
diverse and unique group of  approximately 50 dealers.  For many, this is the only
show they exhibit at in the region or at all, which adds a great deal of freshness to
the event.  Quality and Value  will be apparent when the visiting the show.  First time
customers of the show are often pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the
knowledgeable dealers are.    Since B&D Johnson Antiques took over management
of the show in 2002, the goal of making antiques more accessible and not
intimidating has remained the top priority.

As usual, there will be a fine representation of American, Continental and Asian
Furniture from many of the returning exhibitors from years past.  What’s unusual
about this year is the number of exhibitors of fine and rare objects, porcelain, silver
and glass.  Never before has the show had such a large and varied group of this
type.   Some of the new exhibitors include:

Holden's Antiques-  Ed & Anita Holden are known for their fine selection of American
High Country furniture, Folk Art & Weathervanes.  They are fixtures at some of the
finest Americana shows in the Northeast.

Solomon Suchard Antiques-  Blake & Monica Kemper are highly regarded for their
selection of French ceramics, including fine majolica.  As highly regarded specialists,
they are a welcome addition to the show.

After a year break, Douglas & Karen Constant of Douglas Constant, Inc, Orient, NY
return with their impeccable collection of American Furniture and Fine Art.  Although
he carries a variety of periods,  Doug has a penchant for Federal furniture.  The
labeled NY Hepplewhite Sideboard that he will be showing is not to be missed.

These fine dealers will be a great addition to an already impressive exhibitors list.
Throughout this show section, you’ll get a glimpse of the quality and variety to be
found at the Greenwich F
all Kiwanis Antiques Show.   Whether they are searching
for Fine Americana, Chinese Porcelain, Continental Furniture, Fine Art or Jewelry,
the wisest decorators, dealers and retail buyers know they will have an enjoyable
and successful buying experience when visiting the show.  We encourage you to
discover the excitement!
